The Barcelona region of Spain has an international reputation for producing some of Europe's and the world's best tennis players and the BARCELONA TENNIS ACADEMY aims to provide full-time or holiday players with an opportunity to receive an excellent training programme, whether for a week or for a year.
Coaching at the BARCELONA TENNIS ACADEMY is under the direction of JUAN CARLOS BAGUENA, previously Head Coach at the Bruguera academy and a former top 200 ATP player with extensive playing and coaching experience. Juan Carlos, who is recognised as one of the leading Spanish coaches, will be personally involved in the training of all players with his team of experienced coaches.
Tennis coaching and training is offered either as an individual programme or as a group programme for all ages and level of player. Tennis camps operate in the holidays. Residential accommodation is available in luxury apartments or a local school.
Close links exist with SUTTON TENNIS ACADEMY, LONDON UK, already established as one of Europe"s leading tennis academies, the training base for many National and International players, located in Sutton, just 4 miles south of Wimbledon. The opportunity for coach and player exchange will ensure that both Academies provide their players with excellent training and options to use either location as a training base.
The BARCELONA TENNIS ACADEMY has a superb location in Vilanova, an attractive coastal town, south of Barcelona, approximately 30 minutes from the famous city and airport. Vilanova has 4 kilometres of beach, a port and easy access to a wide range of leisure activities, including golf.
Facilities available include both clay and hard courts, gym, training pitch, swimming pool, restaurant and accommodation; in fact, everything needed to provide a player or a group with a complete programme.
